Snow had fallen the night before but almost everyone managed to get to the starting points for the walk in Waddington or Wellingore. The snow provided opportunities for various activities

dancing on the village green, talking in foreign tongues, as well as simply enjoying the landscape and one anothers’ company.

Broadcaster residency

The Broadcaster (http://www.postmethodists.org/page2.htm) has invited walking artists Alison Lloyd and Andrew Brown to create work for the two chapel noticeboards in the Lincolnshire villages of Waddington and Wellingore. A ever-changing display will continue until 23 March 2013, the final date of the residency.

A walk will take place at 1pm on Saturday 23 March and participants are invited to assemble at either noticeboard to walk the six-mile route following the Viking Way between the two noticeboards, engaging in performative actions as we go. We estimate the walk will conclude at around 4.30pm.

Buses run between the two villages and to provide an added incentive the respective chapels will provide refreshments at the end of the walks. There is no upper limit on numbers and further information will be posted on this blog shortly.
